Run your fingers along the silky, layered petals of Miyabi Cha (Rosa ‘Miyabi Cha’), and you’ll understand why Japanese Wabara roses have earned such a devoted following. This breathtaking rosette-form bloom opens to a generous 5.4 inches across in warm tones of peach, blush pink, and antique brown — up to 100 petals deep — with a vase life of 10 days that makes it a favorite for wedding and cutting gardens.
Plant in full sun and water frequently to keep this repeat bloomer performing from spring through fall. Hardy in zones 5–10, Miyabi Cha grows to around 4 feet with a medium growth rate, arriving already established at 9–24 inches, 2–3 years old, and ready to bloom. Feed with rabbit or composted chicken or horse manure each spring and fall. Pollinators like bees, butterflies, and lacewings will do the rest.
Non-toxic, non-invasive, and strikingly beautiful — this is a rose worth growing.
