When this rose opens, you catch it before anyone else does — that heady, fruity fragrance drifting across the garden before you’ve even spotted the bloom. Each flower on this wedding garden rose is its own quiet surprise: soft pink deepening toward the center, fading to cream at the edges, with a generous cup form packed with up to 140 petals and measuring four to five inches across. This is a mature, two-to-three-year-old cutting rose variety that has already bloomed, so you’re skipping the waiting. Plant it in full sun with frequent watering and a twice-yearly feed of rabbit or composted chicken or horse manure, and it will reward you with repeat blooms from spring through fall. Arrives in soil, ready to settle into your garden or a generous container. A grower’s rose worth knowing by name.
