Plant yours in full sun and water frequently to keep it thriving. It’s hardy across a wide range of climates (zones 5–11), arriving as a 2–3 year old plant already established and bloomed, currently between 9–24 inches, and coming with soil so you can get it settled right away. Growth is medium pace, giving you a shrub that’s manageable rather than overwhelming.

Feed with rabbit or composted chicken and horse manure each spring and fall. Though self-fertile, it genuinely flourishes when bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects visit regularly. A few thorns remind you this beauty knows how to take care of itself.
