There’s something quietly breathtaking about a bloom that stops you mid-step — and Lavender Serenity does exactly that. Each silky, lavender-hued flower unfolds to nearly 7 inches across, carrying the soft, powdery fragrance that makes rockii tree peonies so beloved among serious gardeners.
You’ll receive a dormant bareroot plant, 2–3 years old with 2–3 established branches, shipped 10–25 inches tall during our fall window (September–November). This timing matters: fall planting lets roots settle into warm soil before winter, triggering the cold stratification that drives strong spring growth and reliable blooms. By your second or third season, expect a shrub reaching around 3 feet tall.
Plant in fertile, well-drained soil with neutral to slightly alkaline pH, in a spot with partial shade. Water moderately during establishment — evenly moist, never soggy. Hardy in zones 4–9; a light layer of mulch protects roots in colder climates. Avoid waterlogged conditions in winter.

🍂 Shipping & planting window
Peonies ship in fall (September–November) when fully dormant and bare root.
Fall planting gives roots a full season to establish in warm soil before winter. Cold stratification triggers strong, healthy spring growth and reliable bloom production. Spring-shipped peonies experience root damage during active growth, transplant shock during their bloom cycle, and often lose an entire growing season.
