There’s something quietly luxurious about a rose that smells like a fruit stand in early autumn. Constance garden roses (*Rosa* hybrid) arrive in a soft medium pink, carrying a genuinely fruity fragrance — think fresh apple and pear — that fills a room without announcing itself too loudly.
Each bunch ships as 12 stems, harvested in a more closed stage to protect petals in transit. Don’t be surprised if they look shy on arrival — that’s intentional. Trim one inch from each stem, strip foliage below the waterline, and set them in cool fresh water with flower food. Keep the cardboard wrapping in place during that first 24–48 hour hydration period; it helps the stems stand upright while they drink. You’ll watch them open at their own pace, which is half the pleasure.
Plan ahead: order at least two weeks out, three weeks for Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day. Express shipping is $29 and available on orders of $499 or more. Natural variation in tone, petal count, and bloom size is part of what makes each garden rose its own. All perishable sales are final.
