Cuttings from a very productive yellow plum tree in Lake Hills, Bellevue — the tree in the photos, loaded with sweet golden fruit every summer. You will receive several hardwood or semi-ripe cuttings; the variety tag was lost long ago, so treat it as a small propagation adventure.
To root, keep cuttings in moist, well-draining mix in bright indirect light until roots take, then plant out in full sun. Plums do well in Pacific Northwest gardens and need only moderate watering once established.
