Yel Amb Rose is a sport mutation of Ambridge Rose, discovered at Oi Farm in Shiga Prefecture, Japan around 2006. This rose grows to roughly 120 cm tall, bearing classic cup-shaped blooms of 8 cm across with 45–60 petals. Its flowers are yellow, fading to creamy white as they mature, and carry a rich myrrh fragrance. Apart from its unique colour, it shares nearly all traits with the original Ambridge Rose. Vigorous and repeat-flowering across seasons, it features large, matte green foliage.
