Wat Jui Pat Rose: The Juicy Sport of Juice Patio with Watermelon-Red Hues A beloved sport of the iconic Juice Patio Rose, Wat Jui Pat (also called Multi-Head Orange-Red, Orange-Red Juice) is a vibrant cut rose that lives up to its name—boasting 6–8 cm blooms in true watermelon tones, with magenta outer petals and tangerine inner layers, all on a compact 80 cm shrub. Its plump bun-shaped buds unfurl into bowl-like semi-open blooms, paired with thick petals and a week-long bloom life, making it a cheerful pick for balcony planters, casual bouquets, or sunny garden borders. Growing 80 cm tall with sturdy, bushy growth, this rose shines with its striking color contrast. The magenta-tangerine gradient mimics fresh watermelon juice, offering a lively twist on the classic Juice Patio lineage. The bun-shaped blooms stay full and neat, with thick petals that hold their shape well even in bright sun—no wilting or flopping. As a sport of the globally popular Juice Patio, it inherits easy-growing traits, thriving in patio settings and producing abundant blooms from spring to fall. Its nearly scentless nature makes it perfect for indoor displays or scent-sensitive spaces. Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily) and well-drained, fertile soil to enhance color vibrancy—just like its parent variety, it craves bright light for the best blooms. Follow a “see-dry-see-wet” watering rule, and feed with a phosphorus-rich fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season. Light pruning after each bloom cycle encourages more multi-head clusters. This juicy sport of the famous Juice Patio turns any small space into a colorful retreat, bringing the freshness of summer watermelon to your garden year-round.
