Van Bel Rose, an elegant English shrub rose, forms an upright bush reaching 120cm at maturity. It boasts outstanding rain resistance; sturdy upright blooms do not nod and persist on the shrub for more than a week with great flower retention. Flowers measure 6–8 cm across, opening from rounded buds into charming cupped blooms. Summer blooms are semi-double, showing delicate lemon-yellow petals edged in white, fading to soft creamy white with age. This heavily scented rose carries a sophisticated fragrance mingling green tea, lemon, honey and lavender.
