These hatchery-sourced chicks arrive healthy and ready to grow into the charming, ground-dwelling birds well-suited to backyard flocks, homesteads, and dedicated breeding programs.
A few things to know before your order arrives: Gambel Quail chicks require a properly set up brooder waiting and ready at delivery. Minimum order is 100 chicks, available June only. Birds ship via USPS Priority Mail or Priority Express (typically 2–3 business days), with limited regional door-to-door delivery in parts of the Midwest. Different poultry types ship separately, each meeting their own minimums. Hatch and ship dates may shift with weather or safe-shipping conditions, and sexing is not guaranteed.
Inspect your birds immediately on arrival and report any live-arrival or livability concerns by phone within 48 hours. All live-animal sales are final once fulfillment is booked. Changes or cancellations must be made by 12:00 PM Central the Friday before scheduled delivery.
