Homesteader’s Delight

There’s something grounding about the sound of a barnyard coming to life — the rustle of feathers, the soft calls of different birds finding their rhythm together. Homesteader’s Delight brings that vision home as a mixed-species combo package, thoughtfully sourced from McMurray Hatchery for backyard flocks, working homesteads, breeding pens, and specialty setups.

Because this is a multi-species order, temperament, egg production, and maturity rates vary by bird type — part of what makes a true barnyard so rich and functional. Each poultry type ships separately and must meet its own hatchery minimum for safe transport. Birds arrive via USPS Priority Mail or Priority Express (typically 2–3 business days), with limited regional door-to-door delivery available in parts of the Midwest. Availability runs March through June.

A few important notes before you order: have your brooder fully set up before arrival, inspect birds immediately, and report any live-arrival or livability concerns by phone within 48 hours. Cancellation windows, hatch timing, and sexing are not guaranteed. All live-animal sales are final once fulfillment is booked.
