An Orienpet — the group sold as tree lilies, bred from Oriental and Trumpet parents. Established clumps push stems well past head height and carry blooms the size of a spread hand, outward-facing, deep rose fading paler toward the recurved edges, with heavy fragrance.
TOXIC TO CATS. Every part of a lily — petals, leaves, stem, pollen, even water from the vase — causes acute kidney failure in cats. A cat brushing past and grooming the pollen off its coat is enough. There is no safe amount and no safe part of the plant. Please do not bring lilies into a home with cats.
Full sun to light afternoon shade, deep well-drained soil, planted with the bulb well below the surface so the stem roots have room. Excellent for pollinators.
