Picture cutting your first bloom of Vuvuzela — that warm rush of coral-orange at the center, petals blushing outward to soft pink, 80 wavy layers deep in a cupped rosette that looks almost too beautiful to be real. Each flower reaches four inches across and carries a light, lingering fragrance that earns its place in any vase for up to 11 days.
This garden cutting rose (Rosa ‘Vuvuzela’) grows into a 40-inch deciduous shrub that earns its keep from spring through fall, repeating bloom after bloom in full sun. Water it frequently, and feed it rabbit or composted chicken or horse manure each spring and fall — it’s a forgiving, medium grower with solid resistance to disease, heat, and rain.
Your plant arrives already established: two to three years old, previously bloomed, and ready to settle into your garden in zones 5–11. Bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects will find it too. Not toxic, not invasive — just quietly exceptional.
