PhyTu Marketplace
Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy sets the rules of conduct for everyone who uses the PhyTu marketplace. It works together with the Terms of Service, the Marketplace User Agreement, and our category policies. Violating it may lead to content removal, account suspension or termination, withheld payouts where authorized, and referral to authorities where appropriate.
1. Who This Applies To
These rules apply to all users — buyers, sellers, vendors, service providers, adopters, rehomers, gifters, campaign organizers, contributors, and visitors. You are responsible for activity under your account.
2. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Break the law. Use PhyTu for any unlawful purpose, or to offer, transfer, or promote anything illegal in any applicable jurisdiction, including prohibited species, organisms, or materials described in our category policies.
- Deceive. Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings, reviews, identities, credentials, permits, health claims, sourcing claims, or prices; misrepresent yourself, your business, or your authority to sell or place an item or animal.
- Circumvent the platform. Solicit or arrange to move an on-platform transaction off PhyTu to avoid fees, policies, or protections; share contact details for that purpose before a transaction; or use PhyTu to advertise off-platform sales in violation of the Terms.
- Manipulate reviews or metrics. Post fake, incentivized, or retaliatory reviews; use multiple or fake accounts; or artificially inflate ratings, sales, or engagement.
- Abuse payments and disputes. File dishonest chargebacks or disputes, claim non-receipt of items actually delivered, misuse refunds, or engage in money laundering or other financial abuse.
- Harass or harm others. Threaten, harass, defame, stalk, discriminate against, or bully any person; incite violence; or share content that is hateful or targets people based on protected characteristics.
- Harm animals or ecosystems. Facilitate animal cruelty, neglect, fighting, hoarding, exploitative encounters, unlawful wildlife activity, or prohibited environmental release.
- Infringe rights. Upload photos, text, logos, or other content you do not own or have permission to use, or that infringes any intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity right. (See our DMCA / IP Policy.)
- Post harmful or unwanted content. Distribute malware, spam, phishing, sexually explicit or obscene material, or content harmful to minors.
- Compromise security. Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization; scrape or harvest data except as expressly permitted; probe, overload, or disrupt the platform; or bypass security or rate limits.
- Misuse others' data. Collect, store, or use another user's personal information for anything other than completing a legitimate PhyTu transaction.
3. Account Integrity
Keep your credentials secure, provide accurate registration and payout information, and do not transfer or sell your account. One person or entity may not operate undisclosed multiple accounts to evade enforcement.
4. Reporting Violations
If you see conduct that violates this policy, report it through the on-site report tools or at info@phytu.com. Reports of animal cruelty, wildlife crimes, or imminent safety threats may also warrant contacting the appropriate authorities directly.
5. Enforcement
PhyTu may investigate suspected violations, remove or restrict content, warn, suspend, or terminate accounts, withhold or reverse payouts where authorized, preserve evidence, and cooperate with payment processors, regulators, and law enforcement. We may act immediately without notice where conduct poses a legal, safety, welfare, or security risk. Enforcement decisions are made at our reasonable discretion and do not waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
