Your plant arrives already established — 2 to 3 years old, 9 to 24 inches tall, and has already bloomed — so you’re not starting from scratch.
Plant it in full sun and water frequently. It’s self-fertile but truly thrives with pollinators: bees, butterflies, ladybugs, and lacewings all support heavier bloom cycles. Feed with rabbit or composted chicken or horse manure each spring and fall. Hardy in zones 5–11, it shows good resistance to disease, heat, and rain.
