Return & Refund Policy
This Return & Refund Policy explains the rules governing returns, refunds, replacements, and cancellations for transactions made through the PhyTu marketplace. It applies to all users — buyers, sellers, service providers, gifters, and donors — and should be read together with the PhyTu Terms of Service and User Agreement & Liability Waivers. By making a purchase, booking a service, receiving a gift, or participating in any transaction, you agree to this policy.
2. Marketplace Model & Platform Role
PhyTu is a technology marketplace platform only. Unless explicitly stated, PhyTu is not the seller of record; does not inspect, store, package, ship, or guarantee items; and does not process returns or issue refunds on behalf of users. Contracts for goods or services are formed directly between users.
3. All Sales Are Final
ALL TRANSACTIONS ON PHYTU ARE FINAL — no returns, no refunds, no exchanges, no store credit. This includes, without limitation: live plants, seeds, fungi, animals, insects, or other biological materials; digital goods; services and bookings; classes, workshops, or events; gifts (free items); donations; and local-pickup transactions.
4. The Only Exception (Listing-Level Only)
A return, refund, or replacement is permitted only if the individual product or service listing expressly states that one is offered. If a listing does not clearly state a return or refund option, the transaction is final. Seller profile pages, store pages, messages, or assumptions do not override this policy — only the text in the specific listing controls.
5. Live Goods & Biological Materials
Due to the nature of live goods, survival, health, growth, yield, and behavior are not guaranteed, and environmental conditions, handling, transport, and care are beyond platform control. Stress, damage, illness, or death after transfer does not qualify for a refund. No refunds or replacements are issued for plant failure or decline; animal illness, injury, behavioral issues, or death; seed or spore performance; or environmental or climate incompatibility — except where a listing expressly provides a remedy or the law requires one.
6. Digital Goods
Digital goods are delivered electronically and are final sale and non-refundable. They cannot be returned, exchanged, or revoked. No refunds are issued for dissatisfaction, incompatibility, or perceived inaccuracies.
7. Services, Classes & Events
Service bookings and classes are final sale. Missed appointments, dissatisfaction, or lack of results do not qualify for refunds. Any rescheduling or cancellation is at the sole discretion of the provider, if stated in the listing. PhyTu does not issue refunds for services or events.
8. Gifts (Free Items)
Items offered for free ("Gifts") are provided as-is, carry no refunds, replacements, or compensation, and are accepted entirely at the recipient's risk. A problem with a free item does not create a refund right for otherwise conforming paid items.
9. Donations
All donations made through PhyTu are voluntary, final, and non-refundable, and chargebacks or disputes related to donations are prohibited, except where a refund or dispute right cannot lawfully be waived. Whether a contribution is tax-deductible depends on the identified recipient; see the applicable campaign disclosure.
10. Local Pickup Transactions
For local pickup, items are accepted as-is at the time of exchange, and transactions are final upon pickup. PhyTu is not responsible for disputes, injury, loss, or misrepresentation. No refunds are issued for local-pickup transactions.
11. Shipping Damage & Courier Issues
PhyTu does not ship items and does not handle shipping claims. Any shipping-related issue is between the buyer and the seller. Sellers may, at their sole discretion, assist with courier claims only if stated in the listing. PhyTu is not responsible for delays, damage, loss, or courier decisions, and shipping issues do not override the final-sale policy. Live-goods arrival and dead-on-arrival claims are governed by the applicable listing and by PhyTu's live plant and live animal policies.
12. Orders Sold Directly by PhyTu (If Any)
If PhyTu is explicitly identified as the seller of record, all sales are final and no returns or refunds are offered, except where a remedy is required by law. PhyTu is not responsible for items damaged in transit by couriers.
13. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Filing a chargeback does not override this policy. PhyTu may submit acceptance records, listing disclosures, and policy acknowledgments to payment processors. Abuse of disputes or chargebacks may result in account suspension or termination. Nothing here prevents a user from exercising a lawful, good-faith payment right, such as for an unauthorized charge or genuine non-delivery.
14. Policy Updates
PhyTu may modify this policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Where a mandatory law provides greater protection, that law controls.
