Your garden is about to smell like a patisserie. Golden Vuvuzela (*Rosa* ‘Golden Vuvuzela’) opens its deeply cupped blooms to reveal roughly 80 petals layered in warm gold, releasing a strong myrrh fragrance laced with fruit and almond that carries on the breeze from spring through fall.
This is a serious cutting rose. Blooms reach 3 inches across and hold beautifully in a vase for 7–9 days, making it a favorite for home arrangers and wedding gardens alike. It grows to 2.5–4 feet, suits zones 5–11, and repeats reliably through the season when given full sun and consistent water. The plant you’re bringing home is 2–3 years old, already bloomed, and comes with soil — ready to settle in rather than start from scratch.
Feed with rabbit or composted chicken or horse manure each spring and fall. Bees and butterflies will find it on their own.
Disease resistant and non-toxic, Golden Vuvuzela is a grounded, generous rose worth growing.
