Close your eyes and imagine the scent of a true garden rose drifting through a warm afternoon — that’s what P. O’Hara (Rosa ‘O’Hara’) brings to your outdoor space. This is a repeat-flowering rose that earns its place from spring through fall, and the plant you’re getting is already 2–3 years old and has bloomed, so you’re not waiting for results.

Set it in full sun and water frequently — roses like consistent moisture, especially during summer heat. It grows at a medium pace, reaching 9–24″ currently, with thorns typical of garden roses. Hardy in zones 5–11, it’s well-suited to the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Feed with rabbit or composted chicken or horse manure each spring and fall. Pollinators love it — bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects will visit regularly. Not toxic, self-fertile, and comes with soil ready to plant.

At Phytu, we love a plant that works hard and smells extraordinary. P. O’Hara delivers both.
