Nice Gal is a classic herbaceous peony that delivers large, lush flowers in late spring to early summer, and genuinely improves with age. As the clump matures year after year, blooms grow more generous and the garden presence more commanding.

Grow her in full sun to part sun in fertile, well-drained soil. She’s cold-hardy across USDA Zones 3–8 and reaches 24–36 inches tall and wide — sturdy enough for a border anchor, beautiful enough for the vase. Plant with the eyes no more than 1–2 inches below soil surface; too deep and she’ll sulk without blooming. Cut foliage back after the first hard frost each fall.
