You’ll receive a dormant bareroot plant, 2–3 years old with 2–3 branches, shipped in fall when the peony is naturally at rest. Plant in partial shade with fertile, well-drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soil. Water moderately during establishment, keeping soil evenly moist but never soggy.
