That distinctive crest — a full, feathery pom-pom of buff and white laced plumage — makes the Polish Chick one of the most visually striking breeds you can add to a backyard flock. Watch them tilt their heads curiously as they explore; their friendly but occasionally skittish nature makes them wonderful to observe, especially for families who enjoy a little personality in the yard.
Buff Laced Polish Chicks (*Gallus gallus domesticus*) lay white eggs and are considered a rare breed, worth seeking out if you’re building a specialty or exhibition flock. Available February through early July, they ship via USPS Priority Mail (typically 2–3 business days), with regional door-to-door delivery in parts of the Midwest. Order minimums apply by season: 25 chicks January–March, 15 in April, and 6 May–September.
Have your brooder fully set up before they arrive. Live Arrival and 48-Hour Livability Guarantee applies — report any concerns by phone within 48 hours of delivery. Changes must be made by noon Central on the Friday before your scheduled ship date.
