Also known as ‘Madame Boll’, this venerable beauty has captivated gardeners for over 160 years with its unparalleled old-world charm and exquisite fragrance. This medium to tall shrub reaches a mature height of 90-150 cm, forming an upright yet graceful bush that serves as a stunning focal point in any classic or cottage garden. Its impressive stature and lush foliage provide the perfect backdrop for its extraordinary blooms. The flowers are simply breathtaking, boasting a large 10-12 cm diameter and a staggering 55 to 80 petals. Presented in a classic, deep cup shape that gradually flattens as it matures, each bloom is a masterpiece of soft, pure mid-pink, often blushed with delicate lavender hues and a slightly deeper center. The effect is one of romantic fullness and timeless elegance that must be seen to be believed.
