Speeding Again is a reblooming bearded iris (Iris germanica) that flowers in late spring and again in late summer to early fall, carrying a sweet, powdery fragrance. Upright flower stalks rise above sword-shaped foliage. Plants reach 24–36 inches tall and 18–24 inches wide. Plant the rhizome in full sun with sharp drainage, setting the top of the rhizome at or slightly above the soil surface, since buried rhizomes rot. Established plants tolerate summer heat and dry spells. Cut spent bloom stalks after each flush.
