Silver Spangled Hamburg Chick

You’re looking at one of the most visually striking heritage breeds you can add to a backyard flock — the Silver Spangled Hamburg, a compact, active bird whose crisp white feathers tipped with jet-black crescents catch the light like a living mosaic.

Hamburgs are alert and swift by nature, happiest with room to range and flock-mates who match their energy. They’re reliable layers of bright white eggs and a genuinely rare find in the Pacific Northwest.

Chicks are available February through October, hatchery-sourced and shipped via USPS Priority Mail (typically 2–3 business days). Order minimums apply by season: 25 chicks January–March, 15 in April, 6 in May–September. Have your brooder fully set up before arrival. Live Arrival and 48-Hour Livability guaranteed — report any concerns by phone within 48 hours. Changes or cancellations must be made by noon Central on the Friday before your scheduled ship date. All live-animal sales are final once fulfillment is booked.
