Sav Rose

Sav is a German hybrid tea bred for climates that punish roses. Buds open in classic high-centred hybrid tea form and finish fully quartered like an old garden rose, in warm apricot-blush over a deeper peach heart. Petal count runs past 120, which is what gives the open bloom its density. The fragrance is the reason most people keep it: a heavy sweet rose perfume with a bright citrus edge over an old-rose base. Compact and upright at 3–4 ft tall and wide, with deep green, high-gloss foliage and excellent disease resistance — a genuine no-spray rose. Quick, reliable repeat through the season. Full sun to part shade. Cut stems are long-lasting in the vase. This is a 2–3 year old plant that has already bloomed, so you’re not waiting seasons to see what you’ve got. Growing 9–24″ now with a medium growth rate, it repeats from spring through fall. Plant it where it receives full sun and water frequently — roses reward consistency.
