Twelve stems of Princess Hitomi (Rosa hybrid), a cotton-candy pink garden rose whose full, many-petalled blooms soften from blush at the centre to pale rose at the petal edges.
On arrival, trim one inch from each stem, remove foliage below the waterline, and place the stems in cool fresh water with flower food. Leave the cardboard wrap in place through the first 24–48 hours of hydration, which holds the stems upright while they drink. Keep them in a cool room away from direct sun, heat vents, drafts, and ripening fruit. Stems ship in a closed stage for safe transit and open gradually. Natural variation in tone, petal count, and bloom stage is normal for garden roses.
