There’s something quietly extraordinary about a tree peony that stops people mid-step, and Pink Mirage (Fen Yu Sheng Hui) does exactly that. Its single blooms stretch to 7 inches across in soft, luminous pink — petals so delicate they seem lit from within, with a subtle fragrance that drifts on spring air before you even see the flower.
This Rockii Tree Peony arrives as a dormant bareroot plant, 2–3 years old with 2–3 established branches, typically 10–25 inches tall at shipping. Come spring, expect it to reach around 3 feet. Plant it in partial shade with fertile, well-drained soil — neutral to slightly alkaline is ideal. Water moderately, keeping soil evenly moist but never soggy during establishment. In colder winters, a light layer of mulch goes a long way. Hardy in USDA zones 4–9, this is a genuinely long-lived garden plant. Local pickup available upon request.
🍂 Shipping & planting window
Peonies ship in fall (September–November) when fully dormant and bare root.
Fall planting gives roots a full season to establish in warm soil before winter. Cold stratification triggers strong, healthy spring growth and reliable bloom production. Spring-shipped peonies experience root damage during active growth, transplant shock during their bloom cycle, and often lose an entire growing season.
