Paeonia lactiflora ‘Immaculee’ is a herbaceous peony bearing large, luminous flowers on sturdy stems in late spring to early summer, with a strong sweet fragrance. The stems hold well in the vase. Plant in full to part sun in fertile, well-drained soil, setting the eyes no more than an inch or two below the surface. Plants reach 24–36 inches tall and wide, and established clumps bloom more heavily each year. Hardy in USDA zones 3–8. Cut back to the ground after the first hard frost.
