Run your fingers along a stem of Pearl Drift and you’ll understand immediately why this rose earns its place in the garden — clusters of soft, creamy-pink blooms open in waves from spring through fall, filling the air with a gentle fragrance that draws bees and butterflies without any effort on your part.

This compact shrub rose (Rosa ‘Meidrifora’) arrives as a 2-3 year old plant that has already bloomed, so you’re not waiting seasons for the payoff. Growing 9-24 inches tall at a medium pace, it fits beautifully in borders, containers, or low hedges across a wide range of climates (zones 5-11). Plant it where it receives full sun and water frequently to keep blooms coming. Pearl Drift is self-fertile and genuinely welcomes pollinators — ladybugs and lacewings included. Feed with rabbit or composted chicken or horse manure each spring and fall. Note that stems do carry thorns.

A repeat-flowering, low-growing landscape rose that earns its keep season after season — Pearl Drift is the kind of plant your garden will quietly thank you for.
