You’re getting a 2-to-3-year-old plant that has already bloomed, arriving 9–24″ tall with soil included — ready to settle into its new home rather than wait out its awkward teenage years. Plant it where it receives full sun, water it frequently, and feed it with rabbit or composted chicken or horse manure each spring and fall. Hardy in zones 5–11, it grows at a medium pace, stays non-invasive, and is non-toxic. It does carry thorns, so gloves are your friend at harvest time.

Bees, butterflies, ladybugs, and lacewings will find it as irresistible as you do. A garden rose worth growing — and sharing.
