Imagine cutting a bloom so perfectly formed it looks like it belongs in a florist’s cooler — sunny yellow petals wrapped in the softest hint of minty green, globe-shaped and dense with nearly 100 petals. That’s what this Catalina lookalike cutting rose (Rosa hybrid) brings to your garden from spring through fall.
Each flower reaches about 4 inches across, carries a gentle fragrance, and holds beautifully in the vase for up to 12 days. The glossy foliage stays clean and disease-resistant even through 100°F heat, and once established, it needs significantly less water than standard hybrid teas — a real advantage for Pacific Northwest summers that occasionally surprise us with drought.
Your plant arrives 9–24 inches tall, already 2–3 years old and blooming, with soil included. Grow it in full sun, water regularly while it settles in, and feed with rabbit or composted chicken or horse manure each spring and fall. Suited to zones 6–11, self-fertile, and happily visited by bees and butterflies.
A thoughtful rose for cut flower gardens, balcony containers, or low informal hedges.
