Meina

Meina Rose: Chinese Floribunda—Sunny Yellow Blooms & Juicy Fresh Fragrance A charming Chinese-bred floribunda, Meina Rose lights up gardens with its radiant yellow blooms, classic Austin-style cup shape, and a refreshing fruity fragrance reminiscent of the beloved “Guozhi Yangtai” (Juice Balcony). Boasting 8cm flowers that shift from bright golden yellow to soft pale yellow as they mature, thick upright petals, and a 7–10 day single bloom life, it’s a delightful addition to patios, borders, or containers—blending old-world elegance with everyday charm.True to its classic inspiration, Meina’s blooms unfurl into lush cup-shaped flowers with layers of neatly stacked petals, evoking the timeless beauty of traditional English roses. As they open fully, the cups soften into delicate shallow bowls, revealing a gentle yellow gradient that glows in sunlight—bright and cheerful in early bloom, mellow and serene as they mature (note: color may fade slightly in extreme summer heat, adding a natural, soft charm). Its subtle fruity scent—fresh, sweet, and utterly inviting—fills garden nooks or indoor spaces when used as cut flowers, offering a sensory treat without overwhelming. At 80cm tall, this compact shrub produces abundant blooms in clusters from spring to fall, turning small spaces into vibrant, fragrant retreats.
