Lanshan

Lanshan Rose: 2024 Chinese Gem with Colorful Blooms & Stunning Form Evolution A breathtaking 2024 introduction from China’s renowned rose breeder Jiang Zhengzhi, Lanshan Rose is a standout hybrid tea rose that captivates with its ever-changing hues and elegant bloom transformation—all on a versatile 80–120 cm shrub. Boasting 10–12 cm blooms that shift dramatically with light, temperature, and bloom stage, from peony-like layers to neat button hearts, it’s a unique pick for bouquets, wedding decor, or garden focal points that crave dynamic beauty. Growing 80–120 cm tall with sturdy, upright stems perfect for cutting, Lanshan Rose’s magic lies in its evolving floral display. The blooms start as lush, peony-like layers with slightly lighter edges, then gradually morph into a neat button heart form as they mature—creating a captivating journey of elegance. The colors are incredibly dynamic, shifting with sunlight, temperature, and time, ensuring no two blooms look exactly the same. Its medium-intensity fragrance, a delightful blend of fruity and old rose notes, adds a sensory layer that invites close appreciation, making it a favorite among scent enthusiasts. Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily) and well-drained, fertile soil to enhance color vibrancy and bloom longevity. Light late-winter pruning (trim to 3–5 healthy buds per stem) and regular deadheading encourage continuous flushes of blooms. Water deeply 1–2 times weekly, and feed with a phosphorus-rich rose fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season. This 2024 Chinese gem blends dynamic color magic, elegant form evolution, and rich fragrance, turning any space into a vibrant floral retreat.
