Jushuiyue

Jushuiyue Rose (2021 Skywolf: Layered Gradient Yellow Beauty with Tea Scent) Bred by Jiang Zhengzhi of Skywolf Roses in 2021, Jushuiyue is an exquisite floribunda that blends poetic charm with horticultural excellence—boasting 6–8 cm blooms with rich inner bright yellow fading to soft outer hues, countless ruffled petals, a delicate tea fragrance, and reliable multi-season flowering, perfect for romantic garden borders, fragrant patio displays, or elegant cut flower arrangements that exude timeless grace. Growing 60–90 cm tall into a bushy, well-branched shrub, it fits beautifully in small gardens, urban balconies, or mixed flower beds. Each bloom is a visual masterpiece: dense layers of petals form a full, elegant shape, with a striking gradient that deepens toward the center—vibrant bright yellow at the core softens to a gentle pale yellow on the outer petals, living up to its “clear and charming” reputation. The abundant petals hold their form beautifully from bud to full bloom, while the subtle tea scent adds a soothing, natural aroma that lingers gently without overwhelming. As a floribunda, it produces clusters of blooms repeatedly from spring to fall, covering the shrub in waves of sunny yellow charm. Jushuiyue thrives in full sun (6+ hours daily) and well-drained, fertile soil to enhance color vibrancy and bloom production. Light pruning in late winter (cutting back to 3–5 healthy buds per stem) and regular deadheading encourage continuous flowering. Water deeply 1–2 times weekly, and feed with a phosphorus-rich rose fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season to fuel its heavy flushes. It exhibits good disease resistance and heat tolerance, with excellent summer flower performance that maintains its beauty even in warm weather. This 2021 Chinese-bred gem blends gradient color, layered form, and calming tea scent, making it a must-have for lovers of fragrant, vibrant floribundas.
