Dianchun

Dianchun Rose (Blush – Tipped Lip Rose) Released in 2021 by Jiang Zhengzhi of Tianlang Roses, Dianchun is a stunning floribunda rose that steals the show with its dramatic color transitions, elegant form evolution, and a delightful old – rose scent with a zesty lemon twist—ideal for creating vibrant garden borders, eye – catching container displays, or charming bouquets that add a romantic, ever – changing vibe to patios, flower beds, or indoor spaces. It’s a top pick for gardeners who love roses that tell a story with their blooms, offering a fresh visual treat at every stage of opening. Growing 80–120 centimeters tall, this bushy floribunda forms a well – branched, upright plant that fits perfectly in medium – sized gardens or large pots. The 6–8 cm blooms (some reaching 10 cm) are a color – changing marvel: starting as soft yellow buds with just a hint of pink on the edges, they deepen to pink or even red rims as sunlight and blooming progress, creating a striking bicolor effect that looks like delicate blushing lips. The flower shape evolves beautifully too—classic cup – shaped at first, with round inner petals and broad outer petals, then unfurling into a lotus – like bloom with ruffled, wavy edges. The medium old – rose fragrance with a touch of lemon is warm and refreshing, lingering gently to enhance outdoor seating areas without overpowering. Each bloom lasts 4–7 days, and as a floribunda, it produces abundant flushes from spring to fall, keeping your garden lively and colorful for months. Dianchun is easy to care for, with sturdy stems that hold clusters of blooms well and moderate disease resistance. It thrives in full sun with good drainage and airflow, and basic pruning will keep it blooming profusely. Its color – shifting blooms, evolving forms, and lovely scent make it a versatile star in both garden designs and floral arrangements, indoors and out. It’s a fantastic choice for those wanting a rose that combines classic charm with dynamic beauty, highlighting the excellence of Chinese floribunda breeding.
