Run your hand along a garden fence in June and you’ll understand why Hanxian — affectionately nicknamed “Climbing Juliet” for its striking resemblance to David Austin’s beloved Juliet rose — stops people mid-step. Its densely petaled blooms (100+ petals, 4″ across) unfurl in warm coral-orange tones with a mild, honeyed fragrance that drifts pleasantly without overwhelming.
This repeat-blooming climbing rose reaches up to 10 feet, making it a natural choice for trellises, arbors, walls, or fence lines where you want vertical color from spring through fall. Plant in full sun and water frequently; feed with rabbit or composted chicken and horse manure each spring and fall to keep blooms coming. Hardy in zones 5–10, it welcomes pollinators — bees, butterflies, ladybugs, and lacewings all find it irresistible.
You’ll receive a 2–3 year old plant (currently 9–24″), already bloomed, arriving with soil. Non-toxic, non-invasive, and a proven cutting rose variety.
A quiet showstopper worth growing.
