There’s something captivating about a Golden Campine chick — those bright, curious eyes and quick, darting movements tell you right away you’re looking at a bird with personality. This rare Belgian breed (one of the oldest in existence) brings a lively, alert energy to backyard flocks and makes a striking addition to specialty breeding pens or homestead setups. Campines are active foragers with a lean, elegant build, and hens lay white eggs with pleasing consistency.
Available February through early July, Golden Campine chicks ship from our hatchery partner with a Live Arrival and 48-Hour Livability Guarantee — report any concerns by phone within 48 hours of arrival. Order minimums apply by season: 25 chicks January–March, 15 in April, and 6 May–September. Have your brooder fully set up before they arrive.
Hatch and ship dates may shift for weather or safe-shipping conditions, and all live-animal sales are final once fulfillment is booked. If you’re building a rare-breed flock in the Pacific Northwest or Midwest, this is a bird worth knowing.
