Free black mottled bantam rooster for a good home

This one is outside PhyTu’s usual plant-and-garden lane, but he deserves a proper introduction.

A glossy black bantam boy scattered with white mottling, straw-gold hackles running down the neck, and a green-beetle sheen across the tail when the light catches it. Feathered legs and feet, single comb, white earlobe patch.

He is busy and vocal — the one always digging something up at the far end of the yard and telling everybody about it.

Bantam roosters do well in small backyard flocks and compact runs. He is used to being outdoors with other birds, and to people moving around him. He will crow — please make sure your city or HOA allows roosters before requesting him.
