There’s something deeply satisfying about watching Chukar Partridge chicks (Alectoris chukar) grow from tiny, striped hatchlings into bold, athletic gamebirds — and these healthy, hatchery-sourced chicks give you a strong start.
Chukars thrive with access to warmth, dry shelter, and high-protein game bird feed during brooding. They’re hardy once mature, tolerating a wide temperature range, and appreciate space to roam. Plan your brooder setup before arrival — these birds need it ready from day one.
Minimum order is 35 chicks. Availability runs April through mid-July, with shipping via USPS Priority Mail or Priority Express (typically 2–3 business days); limited regional door-to-door delivery is available in parts of the Midwest. Chukars ship separately from other poultry types, and each type in your order must meet its own minimum. Changes or cancellations must be made by 12:00 PM Central the Wednesday before your scheduled delivery.
Live Arrival and 48-Hour Livability guaranteed — report any concerns by phone within 48 hours of arrival. All live-animal sales are final once fulfillment is booked.
