There’s something thrilling about the moment a box of Chinese Ringneck Pheasant chicks arrives — that soft peeping, the warm rush of new life ready to grow into some of the most striking gamebirds you’ll ever raise. Known for their iridescent plumage and bold, jewel-toned coloring at maturity, Chinese Ringnecks (Phasianus colchicus) are a rewarding choice for homesteaders, specialty breeders, hunting preserves, and anyone building a serious gamebird operation.
These hatchery-sourced chicks arrive healthy and ready for a prepared brooder. Plan for a minimum order of 30 chicks, available April through July. Birds ship via USPS Priority Mail or Priority Express (typically 2–3 business days), with limited regional door-to-door delivery in parts of the Midwest. Each poultry type ships separately and must meet its own minimum.
Your order includes a Live Arrival and 48-Hour Livability Guarantee — report any losses by phone within 48 hours of arrival. Changes or cancellations must be made by 12:00 PM Central the Wednesday before your scheduled delivery. All live-animal sales are final once fulfillment is booked.
