Run your fingers along a stem of Ausjameson and you’ll understand why it’s considered one of the finest cutting roses available. Each deeply cupped bloom unfolds in layers — a rich peach center gradually softening to warm apricot at the outer petals — with a light tea fragrance that rewards anyone who leans in close.
This David Austin variety (Rosa ‘Ausjameson’) thrives in full sun with frequent watering and performs reliably in zones 5–10, reblooming from spring through fall. Expect a tidy 4-foot shrub with generous 4.7-inch blooms carrying roughly 90 petals each and a vase life of up to 10 days. Note that prolonged rain discourages bud opening and can invite powdery mildew, so good air circulation matters. Feed with rabbit or composted chicken or horse manure in spring and fall. Bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects will do the rest.
You’re receiving a 2–3 year old plant (9–24 inches) that has already bloomed, comes with soil, and is ready to settle into your garden right away.
