Qinghuai Rose: Chinese Cut Flower with Orange-Red Blush & Dynamic Color Shifts A captivating Chinese cut rose, Qinghuai Rose enchants with its striking bi-color blooms, environment-responsive hues, and elegant cup shape—all on a robust 80–110 cm shrub. Boasting 8–10 cm orange flowers with subtle red blushing on outer petals, its color deepens dramatically in cooler temperatures (with red blushing becoming more pronounced) and shifts slightly under different lighting, creating layered, ever-changing beauty that stands out in any arrangement. Nearly scentless and with a 7–10 day vase life, it’s a versatile pick for bouquets, event decor, or garden focal points. Growing 80–110 cm tall with sturdy, upright stems perfect for cutting, Qinghuai Rose’s magic lies in its adaptive color display. The bright orange base paired with red-tinged outer petals delivers natural depth, while cooler weather amplifies the red blush for a more dramatic contrast. Its well-formed cup shape and thick, layered petals hold their structure beautifully, whether in vases or garden beds. As a Chinese-bred cut rose, it inherits durable traits that make it resilient to handling, aligning with the rising popularity of high-quality “Chinese core” floral varieties. Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily) and well-drained, fertile soil to enhance color vibrancy and petal thickness. Light late-winter pruning (trim to 3–5 healthy buds per stem) and regular deadheading encourage continuous flushes of blooms. Water deeply 1–2 times weekly, and feed with a phosphorus-rich rose fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season. This unique Chinese gem blends dynamic color shifts, elegant form, and reliable performance, bringing a touch of seasonal charm to any space.
