Ang is an own-root garden rose grown as a live plant, not a bare-root stick. It arrives rooted and ready to pot on or plant out.
Growing: full sun for at least six hours, well-drained soil enriched with compost, and steady water at the root zone rather than overhead. Feed after the first flush and again in midsummer. Prune in late winter to an outward-facing bud.
In the vase: cut in the cool of the morning when the outer petals have just begun to loosen, strip the lower leaves, and recut the stem under water.
Plants ship dormant or lightly leafed depending on season. Photographs show the variety in bloom; your plant will not arrive in flower.
