Dark Brahma Chick

You already know there’s something different about a flock with Brahmas in it. Dark Brahmas carry that same quiet authority — feathered feet padding across the yard, soft eyes, a temperament so gentle they’re often the first bird a child reaches for. This heritage breed lays brown eggs reliably and moves through your flock like a steadying presence rather than a troublemaker.

Dark Brahma chicks are available February through early July. Order minimums vary by season: 25 chicks January–March, 15 in April, 6 in May–September. Webster City hatchery pickup minimum is 6. Different poultry types ship separately, and each must meet its own minimum. USPS Priority Mail and Priority Express typically deliver in 2–3 business days; limited door-to-door delivery is available in parts of the Midwest.

Your brooder must be ready before arrival. Report any live-arrival or livability concerns by phone within 48 hours. Changes or cancellations must be submitted by 12:00 PM Central the Friday before scheduled delivery. All live-animal sales are final once fulfillment is booked.
