Xinyu

Xinyu Rose Unveiled in 2022 by renowned Chinese rose breeder Jiang Zhengzhi of Tianlang Roses, Xinyu Rose is an exquisite shrub rose that embodies pure elegance. Its name, meaning “Jade Heart,” perfectly captures the beauty of its snow-white blooms with a soft yellow center—creating a clean, flawless appearance that brings a touch of romance to any garden. Mature plants reach a height of 80–120 centimeters, forming a well-branched, sturdy bush ideal for garden borders, mixed flower beds, or large decorative pots. Its compact size fits seamlessly in small courtyards and spacious backyards alike, while its strong upright growth habit ensures blooms stay held high without drooping. The flowers are the star attraction: boasting an official diameter of 10–13 centimeters (averaging around 10 centimeters), they feature a classic cup shape with pure white petals and a delicate yellow center. This combination creates a 洁净无瑕 (spotless) look that feels both timeless and charming. While it performs well in heat, summer blooms may open more fully (known as “bursting”) and have slightly muted performance compared to cooler seasons. Emitting a moderate fragrance—softer than the renowned “Taoran” rose—the scent is a gentle blend of floral notes that lingers softly in the air. As a prolific repeat bloomer, it produces abundant flowers across multiple seasons, with excellent branching that ensures a lush, full display. Its good disease resistance adds to its appeal, making it a hassle-free choice for gardeners seeking long-lasting beauty.
