Tanghong

Tanghong Rose, a exquisite spray cut rose nurtured by Ishikawa Hanazono in Saga Prefecture, Japan, and unveiled to the world in 2020. Infused with the subtle charm of Japanese gardening aesthetics, this rose is a masterpiece that brings a touch of refined elegance to any garden or floral arrangement. Growing to a mature height of 120cm with strong, upright stems, Tanghong Rose is ideal for both garden planting and cut flower use. Its multi-headed growth habit means abundant blooms grace the plant, creating a lush, vibrant display that catches the eye effortlessly. The blooms, measuring 6-8cm in diameter, boast a unique red hue that is neither vermilion nor deep crimson—instead, it’s a warm, soft red that exudes tranquility and sophistication. What truly sets Tanghong apart is its full, fluffy blooms: layers upon layers of petals unfurl in a perfect rounded shape, creating a delightful three-dimensional effect that looks like a delicate cloud of red. Each bloom is a work of art, with petals that hold their shape beautifully, whether in the garden or in a vase.
