Run your fingers along a stem of Repartil and you’ll understand immediately why it’s prized by cut-flower gardeners — those large, lavender blooms carry a softness that photographs beautifully and fills a vase with quiet elegance.
Originating from Japan, this garden rose (Rosa) is a repeat bloomer that puts on continuous displays from spring through fall, making it one of the more rewarding roses you can grow. At a mature height of 2.5–4 feet, it fits comfortably into borders, cutting gardens, or containers. The plant you’ll receive is already 2–3 years old and has bloomed, so you’re not waiting for results.
Care is straightforward: full sun, frequent watering, and a top-dress of rabbit or composted chicken or horse manure each spring and fall. Hardy in zones 5–11 and notably disease and heat resistant, it welcomes bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects without becoming invasive. Thorns present; not toxic to humans or pets.
A genuinely generous rose for Pacific Northwest gardens and beyond.
