Qingrou

Qingrou Rose Qingrou Rose is a floribunda variety bred by Jiang Zhengzhi of China’s Tianlang Roses, officially released in 2022. It is a high-performance potted and garden rose with excellent blooming stability. Plant Characteristics: The mature plant reaches 40-60 cm in height (some sources note up to 90 cm) with a compact growth habit and strong branching ability. It has good disease resistance, being moderately resistant to black spot and powdery mildew, and tolerates rain well without easy petal rot. Its strong uprightness and dense branching make it easy to “burst into bloom” in clusters. Flower Features: Each bloom measures 6-8 cm in diameter (up to 10 cm for large blooms), featuring bright pink petals with a fluorescent sheen. The color varies with temperature—darker pink in cool conditions and slightly lighter in high heat. The flower shape evolves from a cup to a rosette, with thick, neatly arranged petals that stay plump and full when in bloom. It has excellent self-cleaning ability, reducing garden maintenance. Blooming & Fragrance Traits: As a prolific repeat-blooming variety, it flowers continuously across multiple seasons with uniform blooming. It emits a moderate fresh fruity scent (often described as citrus-like), which is pleasant and not overwhelming. It adapts well to both potting and ground planting, suitable for small gardens and balconies.
