Pretty Karen

Pretty Karen Rose: 2021 Kiyoshi Imai Japan Cut Flower—White-Pink Bi-Color, Temperature-Sensitive Hue & Rich Fruity Fragrance Meet Pretty Karen Rose (プリティーカレン), a 2021 gem from Japanese breeder Kiyoshi Imai that lives up to its “Charming” and “Lovely” aliases—blending delicate beauty with delightful surprises! Standing at 120cm tall with elegant, balanced stems, this cut rose enchants with 8–10cm blooms that look like handcrafted confections: pure white outer petals cradle a soft pink center, creating a fresh, innocent contrast that feels both timeless and playful. But the magic doesn’t stop there—its color dances with temperature: in warm weather, the pink core deepens into a vivid blush; in cooler temps, a subtle lavender tint emerges, adding a dreamy twist to its charm. A rich, juicy fruity fragrance fills the air—like ripe peaches and sweet berries mixed with soft floral notes—inviting you to lean in and savor every whiff.True to its Japanese breeding heritage, Pretty Karen Rose excels in both beauty and practicality: its short flower neck and excellent foliage-to-flower balance keep blooms upright and shapely, even as they mature, while its impressive bloom longevity means you’ll enjoy its charm for 10–14 days in a vase. The thick, resilient petals retain their white-pink contrast (and temperature-induced hues) without fading fast, and its strong bloom retention—even with such a浓郁 fragrance (rich scent)—means no premature petal drop. Perfect for brightening bedrooms, dining tables, or sunlit windowsills, it brings a touch of Japanese-inspired elegance and playful color magic to any home. At 120cm tall, its sturdy stems complement both minimalist vases and mixed bouquets, pairing beautifully with eucalyptus and white ranunculus for a fresh, garden-inspired look.
