Mad Fig

Standing at 90–120cm tall with gently arching stems, this floribunda dazzles as clusters of 8–10cm blooms burst forth like soft pink clouds—each flower wrapped in 35–55 lush petals, starting as a rounded, plump “bao zi” (dumpling) shape before unfurling into a compact, elegant bowl. Its porcelain pink hue is warm and creamy, never harsh, casting a soft glow over garden borders or indoor arrangements, while a medium-bodied fragrance unfolds in layers: a rich myrrh base woven with ripe fruity notes and the nostalgic sweetness of old garden roses—like a stroll through a historic French chateau garden at dusk.True to its namesake (inspired by the iconic French literary character), Mad Fig exudes refined charm with a touch of whimsy: its clustered blooms drape gently from arching stems, creating a cascading “pink cloud” effect that’s perfect for garden hedges, patio trellises, or large containers. As a floribunda, it blooms prolifically from spring until first frost, offering waves of color and scent that never disappoint. The petals are soft yet resilient, retaining their shape and delicate pink hue for 7–10 days in vases—ideal for bringing French elegance into dining rooms, living spaces, or bridal bouquets. At 90–120cm tall, it strikes the perfect balance between vertical presence and sprawling beauty, complementing both formal gardens and cozy cottage yards.
